TEACHING AT LOREBURN
Classes are run in the winter months starting in September.
Each year we have a beginner's class.
Usually we will run a course for 2nd year students
If the demand is sufficient we can also run a class to convert rubber bridge players to duplicate so that they can easily join in play at a club. These courses will be short and can start at any time.
We teach the Scottish Standard method of bidding – this is a modern version of Acol.
In the summer months, there is an open night every Tuesday for an introduction to Duplicate Bridge. There is no teaching, although the experienced players are usually willing to stay behind to discuss any points they may have come up during the evening. There is no need to come with a partner there are always a few people standing by to play with anyone without a partner.
